DayDot V0.3.20 - Web Clipper (WordWeaver extension)
I enhanced the capture system by building a Web Clipper for the WordWeaver extension. It uses P2P syncing with DayDot’s database, letting users easily clip web content directly into their Inbox notebook.

DayDot V0.3.11 - The quick capture system
'Quick capture' remains the Achilles' heel for tools like Obsidian and Notion. The core problem is 'friction-to-entry': slow startup times, the 'where does this go?' paradox, and a lack of native system integration. To address this, I developed a 'speed-of-thought' capture feature. Users can launch a capture editor instantly using keyboard shortcuts or by clicking the app icon in the menubar. They can then save their thoughts into an 'inbox' notebook or select a specific notebook for storage.
DayDot V0.3.0 - Hybrid data system
To boost notebook performance with many entries, I refactored the database to a hybrid system. This new approach uses SQLite for file metadata indexing while retaining the existing markdown file system. As a result, each notebook now operates significantly faster.
DayDot V0.2.7 - Deep-Dive
To transition from brief entries to long-form writing, I created Deep-Dive, a new feature that lets me expand a single thought into a full document.
DayDot V0.2.4 - AI agent library
We added the AI agent library. This feature lets you browse and select AI agents. These agents help you distill your thoughts and notes, gaining deeper insights.
